We wanted to let you know about University Business magazine's Models of Efficiency competition (at the time of this post, we cannot ascertain what the deadline is for applying for this award, but it does sound interesting):

Simply put, a model of efficiency is an administrative practice or procedure that uses technology and smart business processes to provide superior service to students, while optimizing resources.

Apply now, and be recognized nationwide for your institution's unique Model of Efficiency!

We also wanted to remind you of looming deadlines for various SCUP annual awards!

• January 22: SCUP Founders (Casey) Award for Distinguished Achievement in Higher Education;
• January 22: SCUP Award for Institutional Innovation and Integration; and
• February 26: SCUP Excellence Awards Program, which includes SCUP Excellence in Planning, SCUP Excellence in Landscape Architecture, and SCUP/AIA-CAE Excellence in Architecture.

Please consider either entering or nominating a deserving person, organization, or process by the deadlines listed.
