Serving Displaced Workers: Lessons Learned and Recommendations to Other Colleges
Now it's five years after Pillotex Corporation closed down in North Carolina and displaced nearly 5,000 workers. This resource describes how Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and the North CArolina Community College system planned an intervention for jobs recovery and retraining, the impact on the people and community, and a list of overall lessons learned.
